Block 67 Hotel

Salt Lake City, UT

This 2.5 million SF redevelopment reimagines a full city block in downtown Salt Lake City, introducing a dense mix of hotel, residential, office, retail, and parking organized around a new through-block street.

The master plan subdivides the site into four parcels, with Block B developed through Design Development as a 272-key dual-brand hotel featuring ground-floor retail, a 6,000 SF ballroom, and a rooftop terrace with pool. Block D expands the program with an additional hotel, residential tower, office space, and conference amenities—creating a vibrant, mixed-use district.

Drawing from the historic Gateway district, the architecture interprets warehouse vernacular through a contemporary lens, pairing a white brick upper volume and large-scale glazing with a darker masonry base and warm wood accents to balance urban scale with human experience.
