This concept explores a compact starter home development on an underutilized, irregular site adjacent to strong transit, bicycle, and pedestrian infrastructure in the Bay Area.

Drawing from the surrounding warehouse district, the design uses a repeated shed roof form to create a simple, modern identity while maintaining efficiency. Each unit is organized as a compact two-story home, with living spaces at the ground level and a private bedroom suite above.

By pairing density with individual ownership and dedicated parking, the project offers an attainable housing model tailored to young professionals in an urban, transit-connected setting.
