The Magnolias

Morgan Hill, CA

This 66-unit affordable housing project in Morgan Hill was developed through Concept and Schematic Design as a LEED Platinum–targeted, prefabricated modular community combining transitional and permanent supportive housing.

The design draws from the region’s agricultural heritage and surrounding landscape, with a faceted form responding to the El Toro hillside and contrasting elevations inspired by local terrain and water features. Vibrant color and articulation reinforce a sense of identity and belonging, supporting the goal of creating housing that feels like home.

A modular “kit-of-parts” strategy drives both design and delivery, balancing efficiency with variety while enabling rapid construction and thoughtful, community-focused architecture.
