Created for the health and fitness company Jack’d Functional Fitness, this illustration draws inspiration from the rubber-hose style and exaggerated personality of early animated cartoons. Based on the company’s owner, Jack, the character was designed to visually reinforce his mantra, “Hard today. Easy tomorrow,” reflecting a balanced, science-based approach to fitness and longevity. Combining vintage animation influences with modern fitness culture, the piece was developed as a fun, approachable brand illustration full of movement, energy, and personality.
