What Is in the Box is a whimsical illustrated children’s story about a mysterious old man who carries a beautifully wrapped gift wherever he goes. Captivated by the mystery, the town’s children spend their days imagining the wild and wonderful treasures that might be hidden inside. Told in playful rhyme and brought to life through vibrant illustrations, the book celebrates curiosity, creativity, and the boundless power of imagination.

The project began with hand-drawn storyboarding and character studies, followed by final illustrations developed in Adobe Illustrator with overdrawing in Adobe Fresco.
